As her parents reported her missing, the body of a girl was found a couple of kilometers away. It was Janet. Police had a strong suspect but they were unable to prove he'd killed the teenager. It would take 10 years, two further knife attacks on young women, and a tenacious detective with a long and unforgiving memory, to prove Lloyd Clark Fletcher was the killer.
