0.00 48 minutes The anime Saint Seiya follows five young warriors, the Bronze Saints, led by Seiya of Pegasus, who are dedicated to protecting the reincarnation of the Greek goddess Athena, Saori Kido. The series' main conflicts revolve around their battles against deities who seek to conquer Earth.
The first major arc sees them fighting through the twelve temples of the Zodiac at the Sanctuary to save a gravely wounded Athena from a corrupt Pope. They then face the sea god Poseidon and his Marina Generals to prevent him from flooding the world. The final battle is against the god of the Underworld, Hades, to save all of humanity. Powered by spiritual energy called Cosmo and wearing armors linked to their constellations, the Saints are the last line of defense against the gods.
